Far Cry 3 by today's modern standard is probably quite bland, you basically do what you do in every other Ubisoft game: Liberate camps, climb towers, reveal map area, go clear said area of repetitive side missions while collecting heaps of meaningless junk collectibles, rinse and repeat. If you do every mission, get every loot and relic, your looking at around 50-60 hours. But it all depends really on how fast you are. #2. It works very well, at 45 to 60 fps. I have 3 other Far Cry games (Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal and even Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon) and other ubisoft games, and they work perfectly.
